QUALITY ENGINEERING / CHROME EXTENSION
Inspect the page. Capture the flow.
Turn testing into evidence you can use.
QualityStudio helps QA testers and developers inspect website behavior, record browser interactions, collect evidence, and prepare automation drafts in Google Chrome.

CAPABILITIES / 01
Keep page inspection, flow documentation and supporting diagnostics close to the application you are testing.
WORKFLOW / 02
Choose an application you are authorised to test.
Open the extension and work with your target tab.
Investigate elements, capture interactions and collect evidence.
Check the captured content, then download the format you need.
OUTPUTS / 03
Generated scripts are drafts. Review them, configure your test environment, add appropriate assertions and validate them against your application. Gherkin and Scenario Outline exports require your own step definitions.
DATA & CONTROL / 04
Flows and preferences are stored locally in your browser. Current diagnostics and results are held in memory. Requested screenshots, reports and test drafts download to your computer.
The current extension has no developer-operated backend, telemetry, analytics SDK, advertising system or external AI service. It does not automatically send your recordings, screenshots or reports to the developer.
Read the full privacy policy →Page diagnostics can begin when content scripts attach, before you start recording. Recording captures non-password field values, which may include names, usernames and email addresses.
Password inputs are redacted in the recorder, but secrets may remain in URLs, console messages, page content, screenshots or other fields. Review all evidence before sharing.
Resource checks contact discovered URLs; their servers receive normal network-request information, including your IP address.
PRACTICAL LIMITS / 05
Recording is designed around one assigned tab. New windows, iframes, closed Shadow DOM and some custom controls require manual handling. File uploads capture filenames rather than usable local filesystem paths. The recorder retains up to 500 events.
Network observation captures fetch/XHR metadata such as URLs, methods, status codes and durations; it does not capture full request or response bodies. Layout checks highlight potential issues using heuristics and are not a complete accessibility or responsive-design audit.
Test only with appropriate authorisation. Review recordings, screenshots, reports and generated drafts for sensitive content before sharing them. Clear recorded flows when they are no longer needed.
